Background

Settled in 1877, Clearfield City sits North of Salt Lake City along the Wasatch Range. With a population of 31,909 in the 2020 census, this City continues to show significant population and economic growth. Clearfield’s nearly 8 square miles of incorporated area provides the ideal location for incoming commercial and residential developments.

Challenges

As a growing community, Clearfield was searching for a software that would be a good fit for their current budget, but have the capacity to expand to meet their permitting needs. City staff reported issues with their current permitting software including lengthy permit processing times and difficulty generating user friendly reports. In addition, they:

Solution:
